Did Netaji Die in the 1945 Taihoku Plane Crash? The Evidence
Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was declared dead in a plane crash at Taihoku (Taipei), Taiwan on 18 August 1945. No Japanese, British or Indian government ever filed a death record.
In 2005 the Mukherjee Commission found Taiwan's own cremation register for that week. There is no entry for Bose. There is one for a Japanese soldier, Ichiro Okura.
