We're looking for writers who get lost in primary sources, who keep finding figures the textbooks barely mention and wonder why, who care more about what actually happened than what's comfortable to repeat. We publish in History, Politics, and Philosophy.
What we expect
Well researched writing. References at the bottom of the piece, with links to primary sources wherever possible. A short bio about yourself at the top, two or three sentences, telling us who you are and how you came to this subject.
No AI-written work. We can tell. If we publish something and find out later that a model wrote it, we'll take it down. This is a publication for people who actually do the reading.

A real audience. A byline on a publication that's growing fast. Your work shared across our YouTube, Instagram, X, and Facebook channels. We don't pay for guest pieces yet, and we're honest about that.

About Kavi Studios.
An independent studio building publications and programming at the intersection of history, philosophy, and geopolitics.
Kavi Studios began with Itiha, a publication and YouTube channel that has grown to tens of thousands of subscribers in just over a year. Long-form essays, documentaries, and short-form video on the stories the textbooks left out. The team is small. Pranav MD leads the writing as Editorial Partner. The studio handles everything around it: research, production, design, and distribution.
Itiha is the flagship. It isn't the whole plan. Kavi Studios is built to operate multiple publications and programs under one roof, each with its own voice and audience. We're also opening up our production capabilities to a small number of outside projects that match the kind of work we already do.
We're open to conversations about collaborations, partnerships, investment, and production commissions.
