What we've built
Kavi Studios began with Itiha — a publication and YouTube channel that, in just over a year, has grown to tens of thousands of subscribers and a substantial body of long-form essays, documentaries, and short-form video on the parts of the historical record the textbooks tend to edit around. The team is small: Pranav MD leads the writing as Editorial Partner, and the studio handles everything around it — research, production, design, and distribution.
What we're building
Itiha is the flagship; it isn't the whole plan. Kavi Studios is built to operate multiple publications and programs under one roof, each with its own editorial voice and audience. We're also opening up our production capabilities — scripted documentary, research-led video, full end-to-end content production — to a small number of outside projects that match the kind of work we already do.
